Sensitization Forum on the Modularized CBET Curriculum
The Cabinet Secretary for Education Julius Migos Ogamba presided over the sensitization forum on the modularized CBET curriculum at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic, where he underscored the fact that curriculum reform is a national imperative and not just an administrative task. The Cabinet Secretary highlighted the progress made on the rollout of the modular CBET curriculum in all public TVET institutions, with 194 approved programmes and over 70,000 trainees already enrolled. The modular curriculum is shaping a new generation of agile and globally competitive graduates.
The Cabinet Secretary called upon principals and stakeholders to intensify sensitization, enrollment, and practical skills training, noting that TVET is the engine of economic empowerment under the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda.
