🌍 Kenya to host FEASSA (Federation of East African School Sports Association) Championship in Kakamega from 14th to 25th August, 2025

· Scheduled: August 14–22, 2025, in Kakamega following the national games 

· Infrastructure prep: A joint Ministry of Education and KSSSA inspection took place in July across stadiums and school facilities in Kakamega. They assessed readiness and accommodation/hospitality logistics. 

· Sports additions: FEASSA 2025 will introduce cricket, beach football, beach volleyball, scrabble, and chess. Kenya is preparing to challenge Uganda’s regional dominance
